About Us

District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Dhubri, Golakganj was established on 3rd of august 1995 at Golakganj, of Dhubri district. This Institute of Education & Training (DIET) under the privilege and purview of New Education Policy, 1986 as a third phase DIET in the State of Assam, India. This DIET has been conducting workshops, long term and short term training programmes, academic support to the schools, research and studies, extension support to SSA, SCERT, Text book and other learning materials development etc. at present. After having a good infrastructure along with staff and proper guidance, this DIET will certainly work more vigorously for the betterment of the teacher and students of both elementary and secondary level. This institute has seven functional branches namely

3. Education Technology (ET)
4. District Resource Unit (DRU)
5. Planning and Management (P&M)
6. In-service Field interaction, Innovation and Coordination (IFIC)
7. Curriculum, Material Development and Evaluation (CMDE)
