Roles:

• DIET plays an important role as a district level academic nodal institution to conduct both pre-service and in-service training of the teachers.

Functions:

DIET, Dhubri, Golakganj works as a platform for resource support to extension/guidance, development of materials aids, evaluation tools etc. Action research and experimentation to deal with specific problems of the district in achieving the objectives in the areas of elementary and adult education. It organize seminars and workshop to enhance the abilities for teaching school subjects at the primary and secondary level.
